580 Split is a journal of arts and letters founded in 1998 by graduate students of the Literatures and Languages Department at Mills College. They publish fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and art with an eye for writing that is innovative, risk-taking, and timely.

For their 25th issue, their editors selected works that explored the theme Fever Dreams, to capture the ongoing sense of uneasiness, disorientation, surrealism, absurdism, and lack of control that had been pervasive during the peak pandemic years.
