A number of Google Partners — agencies utilizing Google Ads’ very own strategic advertising benefits, innovative tools, resources, and support — wanted more transparency about specific accounts relating to ad spend progress as well as which of their accounts are contributing to each goal Google Rewards goal.
We wanted to provide data and resources to motivate Partners to achieve their goals. Highlighting progress compared to similar businesses will help Partners understand the competitive landscape and the value of the Rewards goals for their business. Increase Partners’ satisfaction with the Rewards platform, specifically the goal card and provide them with more data and resources to help achieve their goal targets.
So what did we do?
We created a new goal card design for Partners Rewards that included account-level data (i.e. the top accounts that can be optimized for each goal), benchmarks comparing their goal progress to businesses similar to them, and goal-specific resources. All goal cards should be clearly seen on a Partner’s dashboard and the additional data should not hide or overlap with another goal.
